Gloucester Prison – This prison is built on the site of the castle and was opened in the 16th Century. Being the place that has had some of the most notorious criminals in residence for all those years, it is unsurprising that it is home to some ghostly goings on. From the ghost of a murdered young lady to a hand floating through the air, many spooky sightings have been reported here.
Littledean Jail – Head to another notorious jail just outside of Gloucester in the Forest of Dean. It is one of the best-known buildings in the country for the haunted happenings that go on here. Reported sightings include a man in green uniform walking through a wall, children’s voices, and cries of babies.
The Tudor House Hotel – This hotel in the market town of Tewkesbury is a 16th Century building has a great deal of history connected to it. Many ghosts are believed to reside here from a lady who was believed to have been a former maid who glides around the hotel, to a drumming sound in the middle of the night.
