Choosing the Right Accommodation when you Start University

Heading off to university for the first time is a big and daunting time and a big step into adulthood and independent living. There is a lot to learn as you head off into the world for your first taste of independence and finding the right accommodation for you is important to help you settle into university life. So how do you go about making sure that you find the right place for you?  Here are some things to consider…

Think about the location – is it easy to get to the places you need to be? Visit the area or if you can speak to students who are already there who may be able to give you some advice. Try to see the area at different times of the day if possible and take note of the facilities in the area and the proximity to public transport links.

Try to visit some different accommodation – they can vary a great deal and it often comes down to personal choice – for example halls can be quite loud and social, but if you prefer a quieter life, visit your perfect pad for Student Accommodation Cheltenham.
