The life and times of Sir Peter Jackson

Sir Peter Jackson is a giant of the big screen. He is the only director to have directed three films simultaneously. These were The Lord of the Rings trilogy. He directed all three films – The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers and The Return of the King, all of which are based on the incredible stories of JRR Tolkien. Along the way the films picked up a number of incredible awards.

The films were so popular and so incredibly filmed that hundreds of thousands of people flocked to cinemas to see them when they were released. Jackon’s incredibly cinematography and wonderful filming has delighted film lovers for many years and his is a name that is mentioned alongside some of the most successful films of modern time.
