XNA Creators Club Launches Today

You may have heard of microsoft’s effort to open up the Xbox 360 to indie developers and hobbyists called XNA. The XNA game studio express software has been in beta for a few months now, with the promise of a final version as well as the launch of the creators club to come by the end of the year. Today that promise was fulfilled. You can now subscribe to the creators club, and upload any of your creations directly to your 360 so that you can test and enjoy them.
This is a brilliant stragety on Microsoft’s part. Putting the tools to make games out there for everyone will most likely mean a stream of fresh ideas coming to the 360 over the next few years. Aspiring programmers will now have the tools they need to make the games they love, and that’s a good thing for everyone.
