It has been known for some time that PC gamers were getting the short end of the stick with Terminal Reality’s new Ghostbusters game, seeing as both multiplayer and additional content has been cut completely from the PC version.
A statement has since been issued by the game’s developer adressing the lack of multiplayer, and it seems like the multiplayer was cut from the #1 online gaming platform so that the console versions could be “the best that they could be.”

One of my all time favorite games is also a game that most gamers today never played, or even heard of for that matter. FunCom’s 1999 classic “The Longest Journey” is to this day praised as one of the best adventure games ever for its interesting, magical story, mature dialogue and superb voicework.

It seems that the “better safe than sorry” style of suspension going on at Microsoft has reached a ridiculous level. I’ve already discussed at length the discriminatory behavior going on in terms of gamertags and profile content on Xbox Live. But I…

UnRevolutionary looks like a simple two stick shooter at first glance, but it’s actually a surprisingly deep game. You start off with a simple ship that fires one bullet at a time. As you make your way through the various…

Yes, self promotion is disgusting, so let’s pretend that someone else painted these custom Xbox 360 faceplates… If you frequent the faceplate art scene (is that a thing?) then you may have already seen these but I bring them up for a couple of reasons… 1, there are some relevant sequels coming out soon and 2, there may possibly be more faceplates from this particular artist coming soon…

There are a number of trivia games in the Community games section of the XBLM, but none so entertaining as What The?!. The questions range from easy to very hard, and cover a broad range of categories. The game itself is a mock game show that could very easily come straight out of the ’70s, and each contestant is competing to win exciting prizes like refrigerators, mobile phones, and the moon. Each question is read aloud by the two snarky hosts, and four answers are presented. There are three game modes: timed, normal, and fastest answer. In timed mode, everyone has a set amount of time to answer each question. In normal mode, there is no time limit. In the “fastest answer” mode, the first person to answer a question correctly wins more money than each person that answers after them.

With another year comes the renewed fervor caused by the Electronic Entertainment Expo. With surprises and disappointments often associated with the industry show, the Check Your Hud staff decided to make a few predictions about what they want, think, wish for the show to feature, as well as a longshot just for kicks.

Vin Diesel is in the midst of the safest comeback attempt I’ve seen in a long time, in that it appears that he’s revisiting every property he’s ever seen any success in. First he reprised his role in the latest…

The Community Game of the Week, Trino, is something a bit different. In this game, you have to capture your enemies, the Nanites, in your triangle trap. By plotting three seperate points on the screen, you create a triangle trap. Any enemies caught in that trap will be destroyed. Once you’ve cleared enough enemies, you have to clear the level by plotting a point at each corner of the level. All remaining enemies on the screen will be destroyed, and you get to move on to the next challenge. With 40 levels of varying size and shape, as well as 10 different enemy types, the gameplay stays fresh and engaging all the way through to the end.

Fans of Smash TV will almost certainly love the Community Game of the Week, Karnn Age. The fast paced, two stick gameplay is both challenging and enjoyable. You find yourself in an arena with swarms of enemies coming at you from all directions, and, to make matters worse, if you step off of the grass onto the sand, you run the risk of angering the sun. The enemies are diverse and challenging, and the danger of spending too much time on the sand adds an interesting new element to the gameplay.
