Sony has been touting Killzone 2 as a graphical masterpiece for a long time now, and with good reason. The short level I played through in the demo looked amazing. Everything looks almost exactly as it did in that mind blowing target render Sony has been showing off for years now. I have to admit, I wasn’t sure this game would live up to the extremely high viaual bar Sony set for it, but this demo has put that skepticism to rest.

If you love Halo then you are probably aware of the impending Halo Wars. The game releases March 3rd, the demo appeared on Live this Thursday. For those who don’t have a Gold membership you’ll have to wait another week to get your hands on the demo. Basically it’s what you expect: a Halo-themed RTS. If the Japanese demo for Resident Evil 5 is any indication of what the final product will turn out like, I can safely say it’s on track to be a huge success. The demo provides a small part of two different levels. While it’s not very telling as far as plot is concerned, it does provide a solid opportunity to get a feel for the gameplay.
