CGOTW: Groov

Thursday, January 22nd, 2009

All right, I know what you’re thinking - “Another two stick shooter?” and “It looks like a cheap Geometry Wars knock off!”. Yes, it is a two stick shooter, and yes, it does look a little like Geometry wars, but the similarities stop there. Groov adds something new to the genre—the ability to create music as you play.

CGOTW: Aceball

Thursday, January 15th, 2009

One night back in the 80’s Pong went on a date with Breakout. It was a magical evening. They had a lovely dinner, followed with a long walk in the park. As they walked, they talked and talked, and lost all track of time as their words got carried off by the warm summer breeze. As they sat down on a park bench, Pong said “Oh my, look at the time! CGOTW: World Molder

Wednesday, December 17th, 2008

World Molder puts you in the shoes of a character who looks suspiciously like Death, the big difference being that instead of killing with the touch of a boney finger, the main character in this game can reshape the world around him. Each block of land can be bent and molded to suit your platforming needs. This leads to some interesting puzzle solving, and challenging platforming.

Sunday, December 10th, 2006

“My vagina is angry.” Ok, so maybe angry isn’t the right word, but I am astounded by the treatment of females in the xbox gamer community. Within two weeks of being an Xbox Live member, I’ve been treated like a…
