For this BFTP I will tip all you gaming noobs off on one of the greatest PC games of all time; X-COM: UFO Defense, or X-COM: Enemy Unknown as it was later called. This turn-based strategy masterpiece was first released for MS-DOS in 1993.

Another BFTP centered around a game that recently got a brand new remake, namely the classic beat-em-up “TMNT: Turtles in Time”. The game was originally released on arcade in 1991 and later ported to the Super Nintendo, which is where I know it from.

After being silent since 2000 and “Escape from Monkey Island” the franchise was rebooted just last week (July 7 to be exact) as the first of five episodes titled “Tales of Monkey Island” was made available on WiiWare and PC…

One of my all time favorite games is also a game that most gamers today never played, or even heard of for that matter. FunCom’s 1999 classic “The Longest Journey” is to this day praised as one of the best adventure games ever for its interesting, magical story, mature dialogue and superb voicework.
