I am a Staff writer handling anything from Reviews to Industry Happenings to what toppings your favorite video game designers like on their Pizza.

Roots

Raised by Mario & Company and having my supply of games dependent on the next snowfall, my childhood was definitely spent in front of the NES and Super Nintendo. Whether it was talking about boss strategies for Super Metroid or bragging about how fast we had beaten Super Mario Brothers, video games provided the majority of chatter on our school playground. With a love for reading I graduated onto RPGs and haven’t looked back since.

Gaming Today

With my love for gaming unchanged since I first picked up a controller, the internal struggle between studying and playing one more level still rages on. With studying often winning the battle these days I often find myself pushed towards portable gaming and the experience it provides. With my favorite genres continuing to be platformers and RPGs, the DS provides plenty of opportunities to get my gaming fix on the go. I love what Microsoft is doing with the Live service and online gaming, and when I get enough money for the PS3 I’ll get back to you.
