Three months is a good time between updates, right? Seriously I’ve been anxiety-ridden over my inability to play and write about games lately. I suddenly went from playing a great variety of old and new games to working twice as much and see my only game time being eaten up by AION. Looking back to my post on whether to play an mmorpg again or not, yes dammit I got addicted, though thankfully not enough to let it impact my job. AION just overshadowed all other games and gaming related things, such as keeping up to date with general videogame news and reviews, I even missed several of my favorite regular podcasts…. I even missed AVGN!! There should be a law against MMORPGs!

With my workload back to normal levels I’ve also managed to really cut back on playing AION, and after a few days that feels gooood. With Christmas around the corner and snow outside I’ve got an urge to play games from the sofa again, so time to dust off the consoles and play some great games… and maybe some not-so-great ones. So no, Check Your Hud is not dead yet, and if YOU wish to publish your ramblings about video games here, give me a buzz.
