It’s New Year’s Eve, which means it’s time for celebration, togetherness and above all, some heavy drinking. Kick things off this year with an online multiplayer drinking game.

Before a Match

Drink Once:

-For every 30 seconds you wait until the match loads (warning: Gears of War 2 players may experience alcohol poisoning if they adhere to this rule)
-For every player who has a mic turned off
-For every “X” other players have in their usernames that don’t belong  (like “xxCoolGuyxx”)
-Every time the same person leaves the room and comes back
-When someone with “Killa” “noob” or “L337″ in their username joins (Drink twice if they have a combination of “killa” “noob” or “L337″ in their user name, like “L337KILLA69″ or “xxNOOBKILLAxx”)*

*in the case of xxNOOBKILLAxx, if this is YOUR username please smash the bottle over your head repeatedly

During the Match

Drink Once:

-When you kill another player
-When you respawn next to the person who killed you and get killed again
-When someone tries to tea bag a corpse and gets killed
-When someone bitches about lag
-For every racial slur directed at another player
-When you pick up a sniper rifle
-When you’re not playing Halo and someone references Halo
-When you’re playing with a girl (also drink once every time someone hits on her)

Drink Twice:

-When another player kills you
-When the player you just killed respawns next to you and you kill them again
-When someone tries to tea bag a corpse and gets killed and you’re NOT playing Halo
-When you kill that bastard who’s been bitching about lag
-For every racial slur directed at you
-When you find where that damn sniper has been hiding the whole time and kill him
-When you ARE playing Halo and someone references another game
-When you successfully convince players trying for achievements to meet up somewhere, crouch and then kill them off

After the Match

Drink Once:

-If you got a kill in the last 30 seconds of the match
-When you have the most kills
-When your team wins (if playing teams)
-For every “good game”
-For every complaint about the match
-If the person who won has a mic and doesn’t brag

Drink Twice:

-When you have the most deaths
-When you’ve been playing with a girl and no one tried to hit on her the entire match
-If a girl wins and brags about it
-For everyone who calls you a cheater
