It seems that not everyone had been able to implement the details laid out in the memo regarding equipment in secret locations. Their involvement in research in Africa had been discovered due to their lack of foresight about stamping their insignia on equipment. Seriously, who does secret illegal research and puts their logo all over everything? It’s no wonder the Umbrella Corporation was forced to close leaving humanity safe forever from the T-virus and threats of infection…
