Fanart Friday: From Polygons to Painted Portraits
March 27th, 2009If you’ve managed to get past the less than stellar AI, then there’s a chance that you might have found yourself intrigued by Resident Evil 5’s Sheva. Art-Noir has captured her beauty and intensity in this portrait. The artist was able to really make it look recognizably like Sheva and bring out her features in a way that feels real. If I didn’t know better would have thought she posed in person for the drawing.
If you like this piece, check out more fanart and originals from Art-Noir’s DA gallery. There are some other really great portraits that capture the essence of video game characters, like Squall from FF8 and Nariko from Heavenly Sword.
If you’ve got a tip for some great video game fan art or projects, send me a message.
